Who We Are

Founded by climbing arborist, Brad Baylor in 2009. “It was the wake of the recession and everybody told me I was crazy to start a business during such economic decline and I thought well if I can successfully start a business now there will be no stopping me later”

From humble beginnings, Baylor’s Top Notch Tree Service has evolved from a one man operation with no equipment to a full service tree care company now employing seven Lehigh Valley residents including an ISA Certified Arborist with TRAQ (Tree Risk Assessment Qualification). We now operate multiple tree trucks and chippers to ensure efficient completion of any size project.

There is no casual labor here at Baylor’s Top Notch Tree Service. Our team consists of skilled arborists with passion for the industry and commitment to the clients and trees we serve. The Baylor’s crew attends annual tree care conferences focused on job site safety, tree health and crew efficiency. Our team members are offered medical benefits and retirement options. We invest in the well being and education of our crew because we believe in the simple but often forgotten formula Happy Employees = Happy Clients. Crew safety is top priority. You will see our team uphold ANSI Z133 standard PPE, such as helmets, chainsaw protective pants and eyewear as well as follow all ANSI A300 best management practices. This is standard within the industry and should be expected from any tree care company.

Brad’s wife, Samantha joined the team full time in 2017. Meant to handle the administrative end she immersed herself in the company and the industry as a whole. Bitten by the tree bug so to speak, She quickly became a certified arborist and later Tree Risk Assessment Quaified (TRAQ). This changed the game for our little company as the knowledge gained continues to influence the way we care for your trees.

Baylor’s Top Notch Tree Service team are amazing! Polite, professional and easy to talk to. They were pleased and excited that I was only pruning my 50+ Year old London Plane; apparently it was topped nearly 30 years ago which had caused enough damage to this very large beautiful tree. They did such a great job balancing out the tree and removing limbs from the wires. When they were finished, my front yard looked cleaner than it did before they started the work.

I can not begin to express how wonderful of a job this team did in removing a Maple tree from our backyard. We also had the stomp and surface roots removed, and they made sure to leave the yard as neat as possible. Baylor’s Top Notch Tree Service was professional from the first time they came out. They were one of the only companies that actually went behind our fence where there was a steep hill and overgrown brush to look at the tree base versus just assessing the tree from the well maintained side of the fence. They discussed multiple options with us for tree trimming and removal, discussed the health of the trees, but ultimately left the decision up to us. The were prompt with their services, cleaned up well, and were friendly to deal with. Most importantly, they are well versed and highly knowledgeable in tree health, trimming, and removal.
